Transferring money between accounts is accomplished using the Transfer Money functionality.
- Navigate to the Accounts page, the Funds page, or the Cash Management page and click Transfer Money in the left-side menu.
- Click one of the Transfer Types, and then follow the instructions for that section below.
- Cash Balance Fund - Transfer cash balances between accounts that uses the Cash Balance Fund as a balance.
- Other Fund - Transfer a fund's assets between two bank/investment accounts.

Interfund Transfer - Transfer bank/investment assets between two funds within a single account.
To view a history of fund transfers, click Cash Management in the left-side menu of the Accounts page, and then click Account Transfers in the left-side menu. Physical transfers display at the top of the page, and Balance Swaps display at the bottom of the page.
Cash Balance Fund
- Click the appropriate account from the Cash Balance Fund Transfer list.
- Complete the applicable Transfer Money Between Accounts fields, and then click Transfer.

To Account - Account to which the money is going.
- Examples: investment account, checking, etc.
- Transfer Date - Actual date of transfer.
- Description - Note why the money is being transferred.
- Amount - Dollar amount being transferred.

Create Transfer Check - Check the box if a check needs to be generated to move the money. Leave unchecked if it is an electronic transfer.
Other Fund
- Click the appropriate account from the Select From Account-Other Fund Transfer list.
- Complete the applicable Transfer Money Between Accounts fields, and then click Transfer.
- Fund - Fund name that is transferring money.

Interfund Transfer
If an internal grant, which is a grant on the giving fund and donation on the receiving fund, is not being processed, then transferring money from one fund to another is accomplished using the Interfund Transfer functionality.
- Enter the From Fund name from which the money is coming, and then click Next.
- Alternatively, navigate to the Funds page.
- Enter the fund name in the Search Funds field and select the fund from the drop-down list.
- Alternatively, click List All in the left-side menu to view a list of all funds. Click the ID of the fund from which the money will be transferred.

- Click the Details tab.
- In the Assets section, click [transfer] in the line of the account balance to be transferred.
- Click [Switch to Interfund Transfer].
- Enter the fund name in the Search Funds field and select the fund from the drop-down list.
- Alternatively, navigate to the Funds page.
- Enter the applicable Transfer Money Between Funds information, and then click Transfer.
- All fields are required.
- To Fund - Fund to which the money is being transferred.
- Transfer Date - Date on which the transfer will be recorded.
- Description - Details about the interfund transfer.

Amount - Amount to be transferred.
- All fields are required.
A confirmation message confirms the transfer.
Bulk Transfer
An account with cash management enabled can process account transfers in bulk.
- Navigate to the Cash Management page and click Bulk Transfer in the left-side menu.
- Click the account number of the account from which the transfers will occur.
- Enter the applicable Bulk Transfer Options information, and then click Next.
- Description is a required field.
- Select the Bulk Option.
- Transfer Amount - The amount needed to bring the account in balance based on cash management rebalancing is displayed; however, this can be edited.
- Review the applicable Bulk Transfer Amounts information, and then click Create Transfers.
- Edit any Transfer Amounts as needed.
- Edit any Transfer Amounts as needed.
The transfers will be displayed in the Open Transfer Requests section.
Investment Advisor Transfer Requests
If an account has an investment advisor set to it, a transfer request is made when transferring money from that account. The investment advisor is set using the Advisor field on the account. Create, Copy, and Edit an Account has additional information about setting an investment advisor.
A transfer request can be emailed or printed to send to the investment advisor as a notification that the transfer is being made. Before printing or emailing a request, a transfer request template must be set in the site's templates; otherwise, any merge fields will not populate.
Print a Transfer Request
- Navigate to the Account Transfers page.
- Click the ID of the Transfer Request.
- Click Print Request in the left-side menu.
A .pdf of the transfer request will display using the template set in the site's templates. Use the options available to download the .pdf or print it.
Email a Transfer Request
- Navigate to the Account Transfers page.
- Click the ID of the Transfer Request.
- Click Email Request in the left-side menu.
- Enter the applicable Send Email information, and then click Send.
Send Transfer Requests in Bulk
If there are multiple open transfer requests assigned to one or multiple investment advisors, transfer requests may be sent in bulk with email and print options.
- Navigate to the Account Transfers page.
- In the left-side menu, select Print Unsent Requests or Email Unsent Requests.

Print Unsent Requests - Generates a single .pdf file with each transfer request letter sequentially based on the template set in site templates.
- Use the options available to download or print the .pdf.

Email Unsent Requests - Opens a page to customize the email subject and message before sending an email to the list of advisors shown in the Unsent Requests section.
- After all changes are made, click Send to send the email notifications.
