Close or Delete an Account

Close an Account

Before an account can be closed, it must be reconciled and account assets must be moved to a different account.

1. Navigate to the Accounts page.
2. Click the Account Number of the account to be closed.
   
   
3. Click Close Account in the left-side menu.

Delete an Account

An account may only be deleted if it has no assets or transactions associated with it.

1. Navigate to the Accounts page
2. Click the Account Number of the account to be deleted.
   
   
   
3. Click Delete in the left-side menu.
