System Data is the central command center for CommunitySuite. From the System Data page, accessed from Home, you can configure site wide settings and permissions.
There are several additional features on the left-side menu of the System Data page.
The Site Custom Content page allows you to add custom text, emails, and messages to your fund advisor portal, online donation portal, and other areas in CommunitySuite.
System Administrators can use Templates to automatically populate recipient specific information into documents produced in CommunitySuite. Recipient specific information is pulled into Templates using merge fields, similar to a mail merge between Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
The Styles feature gives your Foundation the ability to change the look and feel of your Fund Advisor Portal, Donation Portal, Grant Catalog, and Nonprofit Directory by adding custom CSS & HTML. Edits made in the Styles area should only be attempted by a qualified web designer.
The Files button allows you to upload files with a description.
Release Notes provide information on new features and enhancements as well as bug fixes. They can also be accessed by clicking the present icon in the upper right hand corner of CommunitySuite. The present icon is visible on all pages.
Sync Dev (Sandbox Only)
Sync Dev is only available in the Sandbox site. Clicking this wipes the existing Sandbox site and copies the current production/live site data into the Sandbox.
Communicate with your colleagues before syncing to ensure no one is actively testing in Sandbox.
Auto Sync Dev Days (Sandbox Only)
Allows user to set an interval for syncing a sandbox site. If selected, the site will automatically sync on day(s) selected. Sync will occur at approximately midnight based on the time zone selected in System Data.
