Fund groups can be used for reporting purposes. You must create a fund group before you can create a fund.
- Navigate to the Funds page and click List Groups in the left-side menu.
- Click Create Group, Create SubGroup, Create Division, or Create Segment in the left-side menu.
- Enter the applicable Create Fund Group information, and then click Create.
- If Create Group was clicked in the previous step, enter a public name.
- If Create Group was clicked in the previous step, enter a public name.
Once fund groups have been created, use fund subgroups, segments and/or fund divisions, to further aggregate funds. Subgroups, segments, and divisions are each internal groups, so they do not require a public name.

- Endowed
- Special Projects
- Youth
Division Examples:
- Conservative
- Corporate
- Scholarship
- Special Funds
Segment Examples:
- Volunteers
- First Time Donors
- Park Funds
- Museum Funds
Fund division is also available for 990 reports and can help generate reports individually for supporting organizations.
