Unreconciling an account is generally done when a transaction needs to be unposted or to fix a transaction that has already been reconciled. The system cannot undo the accounting when the original transaction is reconciled.
Unreconcile a Single Account
- Navigate to the Bank Reconcile page and click [history report] for the account you want to unreconcile.
- Click [unreconcile] next to the Account Reconcile History Date.
- Click [Yes] to confirm.
Unreconcile All Accounts
The Unreconcile All feature will unreconcile all transactions associated with an account. This cannot be undone and should not be attempted unless you are instructed to do so by the Client Success Team.
- Navigate to the Back Reconcile page and click [history report] for the account you want to unreconcile.
- Click Unreconcile All in the left-side menu if you have been instructed to do so by the Client Success Team.
- After reading the warning message, click YES, I UNDERSTAND THE RISKS, UNRECONCILE EVERYTHING ON THIS ACCOUNT.
