Content for Fund Advisors allows you to add custom text and messages to specific fields in this area. This article lists the available content fields, where they display within the system, and how to edit the information associated with each field.
Merge fields are within curly { } brackets. Text within square [ ] brackets is plain text and can be edited. Merge fields cannot be added beyond those included in the default, but they can be deleted. Remove square brackets when updating content.
To access Fund Advisors Content in CommunitySuite:
- Navigate to the Fund Advisors page and click Content in the left-side menu.

How to Use Fund Advisors Content
Use Fund Advisors Content to:
- Customize the email sent to fund advisors when they are invited to set up their online account for the first time.
- Edit the messaging fund advisors receive when a grant request requiring their approval is submitted.

Advisor Approval Email Body
- The Advisor Approval Email Body is the content used in the email body sent when a grant request is submitted that requires the primary fund advisor's approval.
- Default content: Grant request {{grant_request_id}} was submitted by {{owner_name}} for {{amount}} to {{grantee_name}}/{{description}}.
Advisor Login Email
- The Advisor Login Email is the email that is sent to fund advisors when Send Login Emails is clicked in Fund Advisors or Send Login Email is clicked in a fund advisor record.
- This content can be overwritten when sending from a fund advisor record.
- Default content: Dear {name}, Use the link below to setup your {site_name} online account info. You will create a password; please put it somewhere you will remember. Contact me if you have any questions or problems. {login_link} Thanks {employee_name}
- Example Language: Dear {salutation}, Welcome to the [foundationname] Fund Portal!
Your Fund can now be securely accessed through our new Portal, which allows you to view your account balance and activity, fund statements, and submit grant requests if applicable. Use the one-time login link below to set up the [foundationname] Fund Portal. After clicking the login link below, you will be prompted to create a password; please store it in a location where you can easily remember it. Advisor Invite Email
- The Advisor Invite Email is the content area that will be used when Send Login Emails is clicked in Fund Advisors or Send Login Email is clicked in a fund advisor record instead of the Advisor Login Email content.
- Default content: None.
