The Third Party feature allows you to collect responses from someone other than the applicant on a form. This is commonly used for letters of recommendation, transcripts, or sections of an application that require an outside contribution that should not be visible to the applicant.
A third party question group can be added to a form such as an application or follow up. All questions added within that group will be completed by the third party that the applicant selects. The questions and responses in the group are not visible to the applicant.
The only question in a third party group visible to the applicant is the third party email field. In that field, the applicant enters the email address for the third party responder and then clicks a button to compose an email to them.

Build and Configure the Third Party Feature
Third party questions must be added to a third party question group on a form. The applicant can designate one third party responder per third party question group.
After an applicant sends an email to the third party responder, the system automatically sends a second email to the third party responder containing the link for them to log on to the system. The template for this email can be customized. In addition, you can configure a customized email template to send as a reminder to the third party if their responses aren't received after a certain number of days.
Manage the Third Party Feature
Once an applicant sends the initial request to a third party responder, the system provides a message on the form letting them know whether or not the third party has completed their questions. As an administrator, you can monitor the status of third party responses for each request on the relevant workload pages.
If a third party responder did not receive the email containing their link to log on, you can resend the email to them from the Request Email History page.
Third Party Dashboards
Once an applicant assigns a request to a third party responder, they will receive an email containing the link to their dashboard. Administrators have the ability to configure the amount of days the requests will be accessible on the dashboard. They may also view their dashboard and all of the third party responder's assigned requests.
Workflow for Third Party Responders
A third party responder will receive an email from the applicant and an email from the system which contains their link to log on. Once logged on, they land on their dashboard and can access the applicable questions for each request. Third party responders can only respond to questions on requests that are still in the draft or submitted statuses, once the form is marked complete third party submissions will no longer be available.
