Within CommunitySuite, you can sync organizations in Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) and users in Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM) by using the Search GLM feature. When syncing grants or scholarships between your GLM/SLM and CommunitySuite sites, it is helpful to understand which organization or user fields in GLM/SLM integrate with which profile fields in CommunitySuite. Users with access to CommunitySuite and GLM or SLM will be automatically authenticated into the other product when selecting the respective product icon on a linked grant, scholarship, or profile.
Search and Sync Organizations and Users
- Navigate to the Profiles page and click Create in the left-side menu.
- Click Search GLM in the left-side menu.
- Alternatively, click Create Individual Profile, Create Household Profile, or Create Organization Profile, and then click Search GLM.
- In the Search GLM section, check the box next to each GLM/SLM site that you want to search.
- GLM sites can search for Organizations.
- SLM sites can only search for Individuals. Individuals are known as Users in SLM
- Follow the Search Organizations section or Search Individuals section instructions below.
- It is not an option to search for Organizations and Individuals at the same time.
Search Organizations
- Enter the Organization field information, and then click Search Organizations to display all GLM records that match your search criteria in the GLM Search Results section.

- Organizations can only be searched for in GLM sites.
- The fields available to search are listed below.
- All the fields are optional; if left blank all Organizations from GLM will be displayed.
- Name - Name of the organization in GLM.
- Tax Id - Tax Id of the organization in GLM.
- City - The City listed on the organization profile in GLM.
- State - The State listed on the organization profile in GLM.

Filters - Refines the record search criteria.
- Organizations can only be searched for in GLM sites.

Search Individuals
- Enter the Individual fields information, and then click Search Individuals to display all SLM records that match the search criteria in the GLM Search Results section.
- All fields are optional; if left blank all Individuals from SLM will be displayed.
- First Name - First name of the user in SLM.
- Last Name - First name of the user in SLM.
- Email Address - Email Address of the user in SLM.

Sync Organizations and Individuals
- Within the GLM Search Results table, the Status column will display one of three states for each GLM/SLM record. Click the Status icon for the GLM/SLM record that you want to sync with CommunitySuite.
- GLM/SLM record is linked to a profile in CommunitySuite.
- GLM/SLM record is not linked to a profile in CommunitySuite.
- Error - there is something wrong with the linkage in CommunitySuite or GLM/SLM.
- GLM/SLM record is linked to a profile in CommunitySuite.
- If there is only one similar record (Profile) in CommunitySuite, review the record and click Sync Profile.
- If there are multiple similar profiles in CommunitySuite, click the drop-down menu, select the correct record, and click Sync Profile.
- If CommunitySuite is unable to find a similar profile, or if you want to create a new profile click Create Profile.
- This will automatically create a new profile in CommunitySuite and sync it with the selected record in GLM/SLM.
