Setting a single scholarship functionality is only available for integrated sites between Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM) and CommunitySuite (CSuite). It can only be used for single fund scholarships. If awarding multifund scholarships, do not set a CommunitySuite scholarship record in SLM.
Setting a scholarship in the SLM Sandbox will only set the scholarship in CommunitySuite's Sandbox environment. Once processes or universes are moved to the live SLM site, those scholarships will no longer be set and will need to be re-configured. Setting scholarships for the upcoming scholarship cycle in Live sites only is recommended.
The ability to set the CommuintySuite scholarship for an opportunity or process eliminates the need to set the scholarship in the SLM bucket in CommunitySuite. If the CommunitySuite scholarship is set on the opportunity or process, that information automatically syncs to CommunitySuite when syncing requests from that opportunity or process.
This functionality should only be used in the final process or universe in the Live site. Copying a process or universe from a Sandbox environment to a Live site does not carry over the selection made in the CSuite Scholarship drop-down. The reverse is also true. Copying from a Live site to a Sandbox environment will also not bring the selection over.
