After syncing a scholarship request from SLM to CommunitySuite, the scholarship must be processed in CommunitySuite before it can be posted and paid. Synced scholarships can be processed individually or in a batch.
Process a Single Synced Scholarship
- Navigate to the Slm bucket on the Scholarships page.
- Click the ID for the scholarship record you want to process.
- Click Set Student in the left-side menu.
- Review the information and options related to mapping the applicant in SLM to a profile in CommunitySuite, then click Map Students.
- If the applicant in SLM is already mapped to a student profile in CommunitySuite, the information will appear with a green checkmark. Unless the mapping is incorrect (in which case you would need to unlink the profile), you can simply click Map Students.
- If the applicant in SLM is not yet mapped to a student profile in CommunitySuite, either select the option to create a new profile for the student, or select the option to map the student to an existing profile in CommunitySuite (if any possible profile matches appear in the drop-down). Then click Map Students.
- If the applicant in SLM is already mapped to a student profile in CommunitySuite, the information will appear with a green checkmark. Unless the mapping is incorrect (in which case you would need to unlink the profile), you can simply click Map Students.
- Click the scholarship ID to continue processing it.
- Click Set Scholarship in the left-side menu.

If this needs to be set as a multifund scholarship, refer to the steps in Create Multifund SLM Scholarships at this point.

- Enter the Scholarship Name, then click Set Scholarship.
- Click Create Award in the left-side menu. The scholarship will then move into the Open bucket on the Scholarships page.

Process Synced Scholarships in a Batch
- Navigate to the Slm bucket on the Scholarships page.
- Click Set Student in the left-side menu.
- Review the information and options related to mapping each applicant in SLM to a profile in CommunitySuite, then click Map Students.
- If an applicant in SLM is already mapped to a student profile in CommunitySuite, the information will appear with a green checkmark. Unless the mapping is incorrect (in which case you would need to unlink the profile), there is no action to take for that student before you click Map Students.
- If an applicant in SLM is not yet mapped to a student profile in CommunitySuite, either select the option to create a new profile for the student, or select the option to map the student to an existing profile in CommunitySuite (if any possible profile matches appear in the drop-down). Then click Map Students once you've taken an action for each student as necessary.
- If you need to skip mapping any students, click the X to remove them from this batch action. You can then map them individually instead.
- Click Set Scholarship in the left-side menu.

If any of the scholarships need to be set as multifund, refer to the steps in Create Multifund SLM Scholarships at this point.

- Enter the Scholarship Name, check the box for each record that should have this scholarship set, then click Set Scholarship.
- Click [Yes] to confirm the action.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 until a scholarship is set for each record.
- Click Create Awards in the left-side menu.
- Check the box for each award you're ready to create, then click Create Awards. The scholarships will then move into the Open bucket on the Scholarships page.
