When syncing grants or scholarships between your Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM)/Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM) and CommunitySuite sites, it is helpful to understand which organization or user fields in GLM/SLM integrate with which profile fields in CommunitySuite.
Organization Fields in GLM
The following organization fields in GLM integrate with organization profile fields in CommunitySuite.
Applicant information for a grant does not sync to CommunitySuite, so user fields in GLM do not integrate.
- Organization Name - Integrates with the Organization field.
- EIN / Tax ID - Integrates with the FedID field.
- Web Site - Integrates with the Website field.
-
Telephone Number - Integrates with the primary Phone Number field.
- Phone numbers are only accepted in CommunitySuite with an XXX-XXX-XXXX format.
- Organization Email - Integrates with the primary Email field.
-
Address Fields: Address 1, Address 2, City, State, Postal Code - Integrate with the primary Address fields.

- If the primary address is integrated, the GLM/SLM icon will appear next to the primary address as seen below.
-
Country (Drop-Down) - Integrates with the primary Country field.
- If a country other than the United States, Canada, or Australia (dependent upon your site parameters) is selected, the address will be handled as an international address in CommunitySuite.
- Note that the default text box Country field does not integrate. Details on adding the drop-down Country field that does integrate are available in Add Country Drop-Down to Registration Pages.
- Any integrated profile custom fields will also integrate between the two systems.

Additional Details on Address Fields
Once the address fields for an organization or individual are synced between GLM/SLM and CommunitySuite, there are additional details to note about how updates to these fields are handled between the two systems. The specifics depend upon how the information was originally synced.
Consider reviewing your GLM site setting related to which, if any, organization fields applicants can edit after registration. Details are available in Applicants' Ability to Edit Organization Information.
Organization/Individual profiles were linked manually between CommunitySuite and GLM/SLM, without syncing a grant/scholarship.
- Details on manually linking profiles are available in the Search and Sync Using Search GLM section of Search and Sync GLM/SLM Organizations and Users in CommunitySuite.
- Each time the address is updated in GLM/SLM, that information creates a new, non-primary address line in CommunitySuite.
- The original address in CommunitySuite remains marked as the primary address.
- If a second address is needed on a profile, update the second address in CommunitySuite. Updating Address 2 in GLM/SLM will appear under the primary address and not in its own line in CommunitySuite.
