Create, Edit, and Copy a Fund

Create a Fund

1. Navigate to the Funds page and click Create in the left-side menu.
2. Complete all applicable Create Fund information, and then click Create.
   • Name, Group, and Checking Account are required fields.
   • Fund Fields provides additional guidance.
     

Edit a Fund

Funds can be edited individually or in bulk.

Edit a Fund Individually

1. Navigate to the Funds page.
2. Enter the fund name in the Search Funds field and select the fund to be edited from the drop-down list.
   • Alternatively, click List All in the left-side menu to view a list of all funds. Click the ID of the fund to be edited.
     
     
     
3. Click Edit in the left-side menu.
4. Complete any applicable edits, and then click Save.
   
   
   

Bulk Edit Funds

Bulk Edit Funds provides instruction on how to edit all funds or funds in a particular group/subgroup/division/segment.

Copy a Fund

Existing funds can be copied to create new funds. The fund fields of Name, Short Name, Public Name, and Fund Summary will not copy to the new fund. 

1. Navigate to the Funds page.
2. Enter the fund name in the Search Funds field and select the fund to be copied from the drop-down list.
   • Alternatively, click List All in the left-side menu to view a list of all funds. Click the ID of the fund to be copied.
     
     
     
3. Click Copy in the left-side menu.
4. Complete the applicable Create Fund information, and then click Create.
   • Name is a required field. 
     • Group and Checking Account are required fields; however, content was copied over from the previous fund. This can be edited.
