Revert status allows you to move a request backward to a previous status in Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) or Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM). The Revert Status feature moves requests one status at a time through their previous statuses.
User Role: Administrator or Grants Manager managing request workflows.
When to Revert a Status:
- A request was accidentally denied and needs to return to a previous stage for review.
- An applicant needs to resubmit a form that was already submitted.
- A request was moved forward prematurely and needs to return to an earlier workflow stage.
- Make changes to a request that require it to be in a different status.
Users with the Administrator role must proxy as the applicant or form assignee in order to submit a form that is in draft status.

- If a follow up form has already been submitted, revert it back to draft status in order to delete it.
- Refer to Revert the Status of a Follow Up for more details.
- For a request in the application submitted status, the request can also be reverted back to application draft when viewing the application by clicking Application Incomplete at the bottom of the form.
- If a request is manually entered, the application cannot be reverted past the application submitted status.
- If a request with a decision is synced with CommunitySuite, the status cannot be reverted.
