CommunitySuite and GLM/SLM Integration Overview

Before syncing requests between sites, steps can be taken in GLM/SLM to set up for success. Once the integration is in use, refer to the resources below for guidance in managing synced profiles, users, and organizations.

Sync Grants from GLM to CommunitySuite Video

The following video covers how to sync approved grant requests from GLM to CommunitySuite, map grantees and funds, create grant records, approve installments, and process multi-fund grants.

• Three Ways to Sync Requests from GLM (:13) - Send approved grant requests to CommunitySuite individually using the CommunitySuite tab, using the toggle, or in batch. 
• Map the Grantee and Fund in CommunitySuite (1:28) - Connect the grantee profile and fund to the synced request in the GLM bucket, including how to handle grantees that have not been previously mapped. 
• Create Grant Records (3:45) - Create grant records individually or in bulk from the GLM bucket and move them to the new bucket. 
• Process the Grant Through to Voucher (4:53) - Run a charity check, post the grant, get approval, and move the grant to the voucher bucket. 
• Approve Installments in GLM (5:54) - Clear the requires GLM approval flag by approving installments individually on the installment form or in bulk using Payment Tracking in GLM. 
• Multi-Fund Grants (8:25) - Set up a multi-fund grant in CommunitySuite, modify payment amounts across funds, assign multiple funds, and create the grant record.

Grants created in CommunitySuite are often synced to GLM to assign follow up forms to recipients and for reporting purposes. Additionally, a grant that was created in CommunitySuite but is not yet approved can be synced to GLM for evaluations and approval in that site.

Scholarships created in SLM are synced to CommunitySuite for payment.

Sync Scholarships from SLM to CommunitySuite Video

The following video covers how to preset the CommunitySuite scholarship fund in SLM, sync scholarship awards to CommunitySuite, map students, create scholarship award records, and approve installments to move awards through to payment.
