Grant & Scholarship Lifecycle Manager Release Notes 2026

06-03-2026

  • Resolved an issue that caused negative values returned from Candid for Candid Profile questions to be formatted in parentheses; these values will now be formatted simply with a negative sign.
  • Resolved an issue that caused mailto links in cards on the applicant Apply page to not be clickable.

06-01-2026

  • UA: Corrected a spelling error in the message shown on the Eligibility Rules modal when the eligibility form has changed since the Pass/Fail status was generated.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented custom content from being displayed on the Third Party Dashboard.
  • Updated the Amount Awarded merge field to show the value entered in the Amount Awarded field on the Approval form instead of $0.00 when the request is in Approval Draft.
  • UA: Resolved an issue that caused Third Party requests associated with standalone processes to be included in the Third Party Dashboard Display Days logic. This setting only affects requests associated with Universes.

  • Resolved an issue that caused the delete/trashcan icon for other evaluations to be visible to evaluators when "Share" was enabled on the evaluation stage.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the "Modified By" and "Modified At" columns in the table view of Comments in Organization Summary and User Summary to be blank.
  • Added the "Download PDF" button to the Charity Check page within Organization Summary to download the GuideStar Pro Report.

  • Resolved an issue that caused rich text formatting to show as HTML in the evaluation summary print packets.
  • Resolved an issue that, in some instances, caused summary cells in tables to produce a 'Maximum Text Length' error when trying to submit a form.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the 'View Details' installment information in Payment Tracking to display at the bottom of the page instead of in a modal when Custom Columns were not enabled.

  • Resolved an issue that caused multi-select list options not to update on submitted forms when a list option was edited. If more than one option had been selected, the list option that was edited would no longer appear selected as an answer.
  • SSO: Resolved an error that occurred when setting up SSO if passwords didn't meet the password policy minimum requirements.
  • Updated the visibility of requests and follow ups for the custom Grants Manager role to adhere to their request and/or process assignment(s).

  • SLM: Resolved an issue that was preventing the custom columns modal from loading in some workload grids.

  • Updated the 'Resend Email' function so that if the email template used to send the original email has been deleted, you can still resend a copy of that email instead of receiving an error.
  • Updated the logic for the count of Overdue Follow Ups in the applicant's view of Organization Summary to exclude internal follow ups; internal follow ups will also not impact the request's status shown to the applicant on their dashboard and the Organization Summary page.
  • Updated the multifactor authentication setup workflow. If verification fails during the initial setup, users can try again with the same key or QR code instead of needing to enter a new key or scan a new QR code to try again.

  • Resolved an issue that was causing an error in some sites when trying to add custom columns to grids.
  • Modernized the UI of the Third Party dashboard.
  • Removed the 990s card from the Documents page in Organization Summary. 990s are still available in the Candid Public Profile and will be added to a new Financials & Compliance page in Organization Summary that is coming soon.
  • Updated the UI of the table shown to applicants when copying previous answers into a request.
  • Added the ability to delete unused processes with an External Type of "CommunitySuite."

  • Restricted the ability to delete evaluations on a request unless the request is in Evaluations Assigned or Evaluations Closed.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented quick exports from downloading in the Safari browser on MacBooks.
  • UA: When searching 'Untested Opportunities' in Eligibility Center, abandoned universes will not be included in the Untested Count nor be tested.

  • Updated the print packet available in LOI Evaluation Assigned from the Evaluation Submission packet to the Evaluation Summary packet; this is consistent with the print packet available in Application Evaluation Assigned.

  • Updated the UI of the custom Grants Manager settings/permission pages.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Applicant column on the header search results page to show the name of the user that submitted the request instead of the assigned applicant.
  • Resolved a 'File not found' error that was sometimes occurring when trying to submit a form with a File & Upload type question.

04-17-2026

  • Resolved a 'Pardon Our Error' that occurred when trying to proxy as a user assigned a role in the 'Disabled Proxy Roles' setting on the Search Users page. Instead of a POE, the proxy link is now disabled for users assigned a 'Disabled Proxy' role.
  • UA: Removed non-Application rows in Request Summary for the UA Common app so that the common application cannot be inadvertently moved to a different stage or status.

  • Resolved an issue that caused timestamps in Change Logs not to update correctly after the time zone setting in the site was changed.

  • Resolved an issue that caused third party requests to copy as submitted without copying the third party answers resulting in submitted third party responses that were blank.

  • Updated the Change Log link on the Update page for Users and Organizations to direct to the new change logs in User and Organization Summary.
  • UA: Resolved an issue that caused updates made to universes to show in the Change Log as being made by the user who imported the universe and not the user who made the update.
  • Resolved an issue that allowed the users assigned the custom Grants Manager role without the Manage Requests and Manage Evaluator permissions to be able to 'Assign Next Form' for requests they had been assigned to evaluate before evaluations were closed.

  • Updated the Organization Summary pages so that users can scroll past the information in the header. This is consistent with User Summary and allows better visibility to additional page content.
  • Resolved an issue in Organization Summary that caused Comments that contained quotation marks to not display fully.

  • GLM/SLM - Header Customization: Each user can now customize the fields shown in the header of User Summary and set the field display order.
  • GLM - Virtual Contact File: Download a virtual contact file(.vcf) from any contact card in Organization Summary to easily import that contact’s information into another application.

  • Updated the UI of the batch payment Import page; functionality remains the same.
  • Resolved an error that occurred when batch emailing committees with more than 50 members.
  • Resolved a timeout issue that occurred when validating a long, invalid web address entered in a URL type question.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented requests from being denied in batch if the Decision Comments field was marked Required.
  • Resolved an issue that caused an error for applicants when trying to accept the Terms & Conditions to view their organization's Public Profile through Candid.
  • Performance enhancement for loading application workload grids.
  • UA: Resolved an issue causing the Submission Quick Export not to include values for Universe fields.

  • Removed the Expand/Collapse icons from the Applicant Dashboard.
  • Added a new permission to the custom Grants Manager role. This permission controls access to Email History for Contacts, Organizations, and Requests. This permission is defaulted to 'On' so existing custom Grants Managers do not lose access to Email History.
  • Integration: Updated the API that pulls charity information for Canadian organizations from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
  • UA: Removed the ability to batch deny universal common applications from the Requests page in User Summary.

  • Excluded the system-generated 'Applicant Id' field from the fields that are hidden when "Show Applicant Info" is not enabled for committees.

  • Resolved an issue that caused rich text answers in print packets and merge documents to display with HTML instead of their rich text formatting.
  • UA: Resolved an issue that prevented the 'To Third Party' automated reminder email from being sent for opportunity-specific third party requests when this automated email was configured on the universe.

  • UA: Improved the performance of Universes in Process Manager.
  • Resolved an issue that was preventing users from uploading header images in Process Summary and logos in the Branding setting.
  • Resolved an error occurring for some users when trying to log in using 2 factor authentication.
  • UA: Improved the performance of Universes and editing follow up forms.

  • Updated the display name for "Taiwan" in the Country dropdown on the user registration form.

  • Updated the Amount Awarded chart in Organization Summary to only look at Installment amounts so that it matches what is displayed in the 'Total Awarded' card.
  • Added the ability to batch print evaluation and application print packets from the Evaluation workload page.

  • Resolved an issue that caused an error when adding a new user assigned the Administrator role.
  • Improved the performance of the workload grids.
  • Added the Timezone to the date timestamp on the contact Logon History page.
  • Resolved an issue that allowed the next form to be assigned after evaluations were assigned to an LOI if you were working in two tabs.

  • Updated permissions so that Grants Managers and custom Grants Managers with the 'Manage Organization' permission can add an organization to a user and manage that organization membership.

03-13-2026

  • Users with the Grants Manager role now have access to the header Search if they are a standard Grants Manager or a custom Grants Manager with the Manage User and/or Manage Organizations permission. Those with the Standard Grants Manager role will be able to see Users and Organizations in the search results; those with custom permissions will see Users and Organizations based on the 'Manage' permission(s) they have been assigned. Grants Managers will not see Requests in the search suggestions or results.

  • UA: Improved the performance of the Eligibility Results Search in the Eligibility Center.
  • Resolved an issue with content extending beyond the background container on some pages in Organization Summary and Committees.

  • Resolved an issue that was causing a 'Pardon our Error' error in some sites when trying to view the Process and/or Eligibility Change Log.
  • Improved the performance of loading Process Manager and Follow Up forms.
  • Performance enhancement on loading Application Workload Grids.
  • Updated performance when loading follow-up forms in the process manager.
  • Integration: Resolved an issue that was causing an error when trying to jump to CSuite from the link on the Organization Summary page.
  • Updated the mobile view of Organization Summary to have a scrollable navigation bar across the top of the page, below the main header, so users can more easily see and navigate to different pages within Organization Summary.
  • Removed the list of unanswered required questions from the form save confirmation page for applicants and evaluators to improve performance.
  • Added a link to the contact "Change Log" in the lefthand navigation menu in User Summary.
  • Added a link to the organization "Change Log" in the lefthand navigation menu in Organization Summary.
  • Added language to the errors shown to users when an incomplete or invalid URL/link is entered for Third Parties or Password Resets to explain the error to the user.

  • Prevented the ability to double click the 'Add' button to stop duplicate rules and rule groups from being created.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Decision Date field in the Batch Denial modal on the Requests page in User Summary from displaying the date in the correct format.
  • Updated the status shown on the Requests page in Organization Summary to show the status of the overall request. This is now consistent with the status shown in the Request card on the Summary page.
  • Integration: Resolved an issue that was preventing requests without an assigned applicant from syncing to CommunitySuite.
  • Resolved an error that was displaying when pinning a comment in Organization Summary.
  • Updated the Date/Time picker on the Batch Denial and Update Due Dates modals on the Requests page in User Summary so that they are consistent.
  • Added a 'Proxy As' button to the header on User Summary pages. This button only displays for users that have the permission to proxy.
  • Updated the color of the error message that appears when an answer exceeds the set character limit from black to red so that it is more visible to applicants.
  • Added filter functionality to the Form, Process, and Organization columns of the Follow Ups table in User Summary.

  • GLM/SLM - User Summary: The new User Summary page consolidates essential user information into one screen.
  • GLM - Follow Up Reassignment: To streamline workflows, follow ups can now be reassigned from User Summary and a link has been added to the follow up form.
  • SLM - Follow Up Link: A link to the follow up form has been added to the Follow Ups page in User Summary.

02-27-2026

  • Improved the performance of clearing searches on all pages that have a quick search.
  • Updated informational text on the contact information visible to the applicant to say "If your Organization information does not appear correct, please contact 'Foundant Name'. Thank you. "Foundation Name" will populate from the site creation.
  • Updated the User Summary mobile view to collapse the side navigation on windows below 500 pixels. The side navigation can be opened/closed via a chevron button at the top of the page.
  • Resolved an issue with Grant Manager Permissions on the new User Summary.
  • Resolved an issue when jumping from GLM to CommunitySuite organization records.
  • Updated performance when searching on Process Manager.
  • Resolved an issue that was preventing those using Safari as their browser from being able to proxy as another user.
  • Addressed an 'Aspose license' message and watermark that was being included on on some PDFs and created documents.

  • Resolved an issue with the API.
  • Resolved an issue that was occurring when loading the 'My Team's Requests' tab in My Organization Chart.
  • Resolved an issue so that users without First and Last Name can be deactivated.
  • Modernization: Create a new HybridValidateAntiForgeryToken attribute to be used when calls originate in framework and are handled in .net8.
  • UA: Added logic to prevent Common Questions used in eligibility rules from being changed to opportunity specific so that eligibility rules are not inadvertently broken.

02-18-2026

  • Resolved an issue that prevented removing an evaluator from a request on the Evaluation Summary page if they were not the first evaluator in the list.
  • Removed the 'Select All' option from the Evaluations page in the new User Summary to prevent unintentionally selecting evaluations that are not visible in the grid when using the Search and/or paging.
  • SLM: Updated the design of the Committees and Update Committee pages.
  • Improved the loading performance of header search, added a "Searching" message to show that results are loading, and updated the search behavior so that when "Enter" is clicked after entering a search term, you will be taken directly to the Search Results page.
  • Added handling for POEs (Pardon Our Errors) that occurred when documents with invalid file names were uploaded so that admins and applicants can still access the form and correct the issue.

  • Integration: Resolved an error that was occurring when sending a scholarship from CSuite to SLM.

  • Resolved an issue that caused summary cells not to be added to tables where existing summary rows and new columns intersected.
  • Resolved an issue that, in some cases, allowed the forms and files in the Documents dropdown on the Applicant Dashboard to extend behind the footer.
  • Resolved a display issue with special characters in names on the Contacts page in Organization Summary.
  • UA: Resolved an issue that allowed duplicate, undeletable eligibility rule groups to be created if 'Configure Rule Group' was double-clicked when creating a new rule.
  • Disabled autofill capabilities on the Min and Max fields on Scoring questions so that Scoring type questions cannot be saved with missing required values resulting in errors when accessing the form.
  • Integration: Resolved an error that was occurring when trying to sync a grant from CSuite to GLM.
  • Resolved an issue that caused banner images not to display on most pages.
  • Moved the Foundation Name to the lower left of the page footer and moved the copyright information to the right. The new consolidated header no longer includes the foundation name, so it was moved to the footer to maintain visibility. The new footer layout is visible to users of all roles.
  • Improved the performance of loading search results in the header Search dropdown.

  • GLM/SLM - Updated Header & Branding Setting: The consolidated header and new ‘Branding’ Foundation Setting gives you an easy way to manage your site's logo, logon page image, and header/footer colors across all pages. NOTE: Please review the branding in your site and make any necessary updates as some styling options have been discontinued.
  • GLM/SLM - Header Search: This feature allows you to quickly search for and navigate to specific User or Request records from any page. This feature is only available to users assigned the Administrator role.
  • GLM/SLM - Unassign Evaluations: To simplify workflows, unassigning evaluations now takes place at the evaluator level on the new Evaluations page in the new User Summary or on the request level on the Evaluation Summary page.
  • GLM/SLM - Batch Actions for Requests in User Summary: Requests can now be Abandoned, Closed, and Denied in batch on a per applicant basis on the Requests page in the new User Summary.
  • GLM/SLM - Password Reset Link Expiration:  Updated the expiration length of the links sent in password reset emails from 24 hours to 1 hour to align with security guidelines. Updated the default password reset email template to include "This link is valid for 1 hour" to reflect the new link expiration timeframe. NOTE: Any sites that have edited or customized the password reset email template will not have been updated and will need to be updated manually.

  • SLM - Added Applicant Name to Third Party: Replaced the form name in the header with applicant name so that third parties can clearly see the applicant for whom they are submitting information when completing a third party request.
  • Universal Application - Evaluator Assignment: Evaluations can now be assigned across opportunities in the Evaluations Assigned workload page using the same committees.

  • Resolved an issue that caused process Short Links entered by applicants to briefly redirect to the legacy apply page. This also caused some applicants with historical applications for that process to receive a POE when trying to apply again.
  • Improved the loading performance of the workload grids.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented subsequent levels of nested lists from being edited.
  • Resolved an issue that caused Grants Managers to not be able to toggle between My Requests and All Requests.
  • Removed the change comment warning from the Add Comment modal when adding a new comment from the new Organization Summary and User Summary pages.
  • Updated the "Remove Membership" confirmation popup to include the warning about open requests when removing a user from an organization in the card view of the Organizations page of the new User Summary.
  • SLM: Replaced the form name in the header with applicant name so that third parties can clearly see the applicant for whom they are submitting information when completing a third party request.
  • Added the 'Unique Entity ID (UEI)' system field, formerly labeled DUNS Number, to the row of information that appears below the organization name on the Organization Summary page. This field, when used, will display the field's value and the label and value will be displayed when hovering over it with your cursor.
  • Improved the loading performance of the Contacts page in Organization Summary when the organization has a large number of associated contacts.
  • Updated the default password reset email template to include "This link is valid for 1 hour" to reflect the new link expiration timeframe. If you have edited or customized the password reset template, you will need to manually update your template to include this information.

  • Resolved an issue that caused an error when viewing the new user summary for accounts without names (collaborator and organization invitees).
  • Security: Updated the expiration length of the links sent in password reset emails from 24 hours to 1 hour to align with security guidelines.

  • Resolved an issue with the Statuses filter on the Email History page so that all emails matching the selected status are returned in the search results.
  • Updated the Process Request Limit so that requests in Closed and Denied statuses count toward the limit even after the Show Decision Status setting days have been reached.
  • Addressed some exceptions and errors encountered by third parties.
  • Resolved an issue that caused Third Party URLs not to work when linked to text within an email template.
  • Updated the Process Summary display so that request limit values are hidden if the 'Enable Request Limit' checkbox is unchecked.

  • Resolved an issue that was causing POEs for some users related to the 'SLM - Applicant Contact Info Hidden from Evaluators' monthly release.

  • Updated the Organization Summary mobile view to collapse the side navigation on windows below 500 pixels. The side navigation can be opened/closed via a chevron button at the top of the page.
  • Integration: Made the QuickBooks Online integration available for clients in Australia.
  • Integration: Made the QuickBooks Online integration available for clients in Canada.
  • Resolved an issue that caused some HTML formatting to appear in Process Descriptions on the Apply page.

  • Resolved an issue with process descriptions not fully displaying on the Apply page if they contained HTML formatting.
  • Universal Application: Resolved an error that was occurring when trying to save an approval or denial.
  • Updated the Release Notes link in the header to direct to 2026 releases.

  • Resolved an issue that caused the content of the Email Templates page to be misaligned in the table when initiating an email from the new User Summary page.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Logon page to render differently depending on how parts of the logon URL were capitalized.
  • Resolved an issue that caused Third Party email fields in custom columns to not always display the third party email address associated with that specific submission.
  • GLM - Disable File Downloads for Evaluators: Keep your applicant information more secure with this  Foundation Setting which prevents Evaluators from downloading print packets and applicant files.
  • GLM/SLM - Process Request Limit: Limit the number of requests submitted per applicant with the new 'Maximum Number of Requests per Applicant' option in Process Manager.
  • GLM/SLM - Updated Header & Branding Setting - Sandbox only: The consolidated header and new ‘Branding’ Foundation Setting give you an easy way to manage your site's logo, logon page image, and header/footer colors across all pages. Preview it in your Sandbox site now.
  • SLM - Applicant Contact Info Hidden from Evaluators: Protects applicant contact information (Address, Email Address, and Phone Number) by hiding it from Evaluators in the UI and print packets.
  • Universal Application - Warning for Eligibility Rules built with Supplemental Questions: Added an error to eligibility rules to indicate if a rule is built with a supplemental question and needs to be revised.
  • Universal Application Opportunities - Automated Due Date Reminder Email: A single Due Date reminder email will now be sent for unsubmitted opportunities when automated due date reminders are configured on the Universe. The 'Opportunity Name' merge field can be used in email templates to include the list of all unsubmitted opportunities.

  • Corrected the date, time, and user on Comments that were inadvertently changed by a bug on 12/31/25. We were able to restore the correct information for nearly all of the comments that were affected.

  • Resolved an issue that caused contacts associated with more than one organization to only be included in the Contact Count on the Organization Summary page of their primary organization.
